Have you been wondering what the hours and offerings are at our tasting rooms? Here is your guide to what’s happening at our Old Mission and Suttons Bay locations. We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we adjust to this evolving situation.
“Are you doing wine tastings?”
Currently, we are offering wines by the glass ($5-$10) and wine flights (3 two-ounce pours for $9) from a selection of our most popular wines daily from 11 am-6 pm.
“Do you have food at the tasting rooms?”
Items available include our housemade granola and crackers, plus other packaged snacks like gourmet nuts and chocolate. At the Black Star Farms Suttons Bay you may dine at the Hearth and Vine Café in the air-conditioned dining room or on the spacious patio. “Can I make a reservation at one of the tasting rooms?”
Seating is limited to 50% capacity and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are not accepting reservations at this time. Most seating is outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather conditions.
“Are you accepting groups at the tasting rooms?”
Groups of 6 or more may be asked to split up based on available seating. We ask that you keep your group as small as possible to allow for multiple seating options.
“Do I have to wear a face covering?”
Face coverings are required until you have been seated in your designated wine enjoyment area. Masks must be worn in any common area (sales floor, restrooms, hallways, etc.). Our staff reserves the right to ask you to properly wear your mask for the safety of yourself and those around you.
“How are you abiding by social distancing guidelines?”
We have marked our floors with 6-feet indicators and provided appropriate signage so you can follow these guidelines with ease. Our seating options are spaced 6 feet apart and we have installed plexiglass barriers for the safety of our staff and guests.
“Can I bring my dog?”
Dogs are allowed in outdoor seating areas only. They are not allowed inside tasting room facilities unless they are certified service animals.
