A Symphony in Your Glass

The last release of the A Capella label was 2011, and only one other vintage, 2007, was worthy of the name.

Introducing the 2017 A Capella Pinot Noir, a wine that creates a symphony when paired with food, but is exquisite enough to sing on its own.

This limited release is only made during the best vintages from our best vineyards. The grapes were sourced exclusively from our proprietor’s prized Leelanau Summit Vineyard. The perfect growing conditions during this vintage along with the maturity of these vines combined for our third release of this label.

Ripe Pinot Noir grapes on the vine.

In this wine, you will find all the virtuous qualities of Pinot Noir such as ripe cherry and pomegranate fruit, hints of violets, nuances of barrel spice, plus a richness on the palate that lingers beyond expectations. The harmonious complexity of this wine can be compared to a well-tuned orchestra.

Enjoy A Capella on its own while relaxing after work, or as a perfect accompaniment to many dishes. Some of our favorites include cherry glazed salmon, herb-roasted chicken with tarragon cream, crispy duck with red wine berry sauce, and wild mushroom risotto.

This wine is drinking beautifully now. However, it will only benefit from additional cellar aging for up to 10 years.

If you consider yourself a Pinot Noir fan, snatch up this wine before it sells out! Available only at our two Traverse City area tasting rooms and online.

Cheers to drinking Michigan wine!
